Mary Harris Reading Program

Soroptimist International of Vacaville truly believes that literacy is one of the keys of life that build self confidence and furthers the desire to learn for a lifetime. Our reading program was started in 2002, by our beloved past president Mary Harris. She developed the program to include various sites within after-school programs and our libraries to bring stories to life as volunteers read to young children.
